Purchased in Spring 2025 when a very limited quantity was imported by the domestic distributor. It is said that this product is rarely distributed in Japan. There is some sign of use, but they have not been worn much, so there is no noticeable damage.
Personally, I found these boots to be surprisingly lightweight and comfortable for what I consider to be serious tactical boots, feeling almost like wearing sneakers.
The beautiful form, typical of Italian craftsmanship, is also appealing, especially for military boots.
The insoles were replaced with different ones and are therefore unused.

The CRISPI ARES 8 GTX features a unique WFW (Wrapping Frame Work) resin exoskeleton that maintains the boot's shape even with thin, lightweight materials, while gently holding the foot. The outer material is a combination of leather and reinforced fabric, with a GORE-TEX lining for excellent waterproofing and breathability. The WFW system also achieves both robustness and lightness. The Vibram sole absorbs shock, provides excellent grip, and offers very quiet performance.
These tactical boots are suitable for both urban environments and field operations.
