Description
**Vintage Mid-Century Advertising Mechanical Pencil – G.H. Whitney Representative** Up for sale is a fantastic piece of vintage Wisconsin regional memorabilia. This mid-century mechanical pencil features a classic dark green and cream two-tone celluloid/plastic body with a silver-tone metal nose cone and clip. **Text on Pencil:** - G. H. WHITNEY / REPRESENTATIVE / WISCONSIN - UPPER - Also features a local city stamp: RHINELANDER, WIS. Condition Details: - Cosmetic: Great vintage condition with color contrast. The text remains highly legible and crisp. Minor pocket wear and light surface scratches consistent with age. - Mechanical: Lead is currently visible at the tip. The twist mechanism shows standard vintage characteristics. Unsure if there is an eraser (didn't want to break it twisting it off to check). Perfect addition for collectors of vintage writing instruments, advertising pencils, or Wisconsin history. Please see all photos for a closer look at the condition and details.
