Made with steer leather from cows that have been raised for over 2 years in Japan.
The entire process, from tanning to finishing, is done by a domestic tannery. The leather is tanned with tannin and then tanned again.
Tannin-tanned leather is resistant to losing its shape and develops a luster and becomes more comfortable with use.
It is finished with dye to retain the natural texture of the leather, followed by a secondary oil finish.
After being made into shoes, they are finished with wax for an elegant look.
The sole is made of foamed rubber containing small air bubbles, creating a tall and thick chunky sole.
Despite its voluminous appearance, it is surprisingly lightweight, emphasizing comfort.
These are clogs with a rounded upper that covers the toes and instep.
They retain the comfort of sandals while featuring a beautiful shoe-like design with a curved upper.
