Damask Linen tablecloth 4' x 4' white vintage mid century

They just don't make them like this anymore!  A very elegant all white damask linen tablecloth with a subtle beautiful floral and border pattern. The border with the small rectangular step or key-fret motifs framing a central floral spray/bouquet medallion is a very typical Irish or Belgian damask floral and Greek key border pattern — extremely common in early-to-mid 20th century banquet/formal damask linens.  Damask is made by weaving a pattern from the same yarn, just with the weave structure flipped so light reflects differently.  From my family estate, one small flaw on the edge (see photos).  No stains.  Cloth is not a bleach white color, the aging has mellowed the color to ivory.  No label or fabric tag. An heirloom with good care that will last generations.
