Set of 4 vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Laurel Wreath bread & butter plates, c. 1948–1957. Each 6.25 plate is individually hand painted with cobalt blue and rose-pink flowers, green leafy vines, a thin rose border and gently scalloped edge. The floral placement and brushwork vary from plate to plate, characteristic of Blue Ridge hand-painted dinnerware. Classic mid-century American pottery and a useful replacement set for the Laurel Wreath pattern. Condition Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Light utensil marks, minor glaze imperfections and normal age-related wear are present. Hand-painted decoration remains bright. See photos for individual variations and condition.
