Defects & imperfections – please check pictures made under the bright light & magnification:  • Plate 1: three small chips - two to the gold rim, one to the white rim  • Plate 2: one small chip to the white rim  • Plate 3: intact, no chips or cracks  Fascinating Fun Facts:  • Backstamped with the black “Haviland / France” mark plus the red “Haviland & Co. / Limoges” mark - this two-mark combination was used between 1894 and 1931kg  • Cataloged today as Schleiger 52H since Haviland never gave this pattern an official name — collector Arlene Schleiger assigned it a reference number decades later while documenting the company’s roughly 30,000 unnamed patterns  • As true hard-paste porcelain, the body is thin enough to show translucency when held to light — a quality test that distinguishes genuine Limoges porcelain from heavier stoneware or earthenware  Dimensions: 7.5 in  Weight: 1 lb 8 oz
