【Price Reduction!】Rare Copper Hibachi with 12 Zodiac Signs Embossed, Brass Rim, Wooden Lid Included, Over 40cm, Antique Folk Craft

【Price Reduced on 5/7!】

This is a copper hibachi (brazier) found during a clean-out of my parents' home.

It's a very atmospheric piece with a three-dimensional depiction of the twelve zodiac animals.
Weighing approximately 10kg, it has a substantial feel, unlike thinner, mass-produced items, showcasing a robust construction.
The manufacturing and purchase dates are unknown, but I imagine my grandfather may have purchased it.

The rim is made of brass, and the handles are shaped with animal motifs.
The wooden lid is also included (with some deformation, please refer to the photos), preserving its original appearance from that era.
With a diameter of 40cm, it has a commanding presence and would be a striking addition to Japanese-style interiors, shop displays, or as an ornamental piece for overseas markets.
There are no holes, and it is in good condition for both practical use and display.
While there are some age-related dullness and scuffs, it retains its original character without being overly polished.
Therefore, it will be shipped with only a light dusting, largely as shown in the photos, so please understand.

This particular piece is recommended for collectors due to its elaborate decoration and substantial weight within its category.
