Antique iron kettle, with defects, junk, vase, flower arrangement, as is

This is an iron kettle purchased at an antique market.
It originally did not have a lid and was covered in rust, but after cleaning and applying a thin coat of oil,
I used it as a vase by placing a small bottle inside.
The handle has been reinforced with wire, but I think it actually adds character.

It has never been used to boil water.

This is a used antique item.
