Nambu Teruaki-do (Teru-mata Seisakusho)
The company name Teruaki-do was named by the founder, Terui Yahachi.
Teru-mata Seisakusho began in the late Meiji era as a tea and inn business in Mōka City's Mukaidōri (present-day Sakana-chō).
Along with selling tea, they began to handle tea utensils. They also had a kettle factory on the adjacent property, but the factory later moved to Esashi Kōji (present-day Minami Ōdōri). In the 1950s, they participated in the management of the handmade village, which opened, and moved along with other workshops in Morioka City.
Unfortunately, Teruaki-do (Teru-mata Seisakusho) closed in 2008, so new, unused items rarely become available.
Although unused, there is rust on the rim and bottom.
