Vintage 1970s Britches of Georgetowne Navy Blue Blazer JacketStep into timeless Ivy League style with this authentic 1970s navy blazer from the legendary D.C. clothier, Britches of Georgetowne! Union Made in the USA (ACWA tag dates it 1968–1976), this is a rare find for vintage collectors. Features: Equestrian Heritage: Heavy brass shank buttons with detailed, bridled horse heads (2 front, 4 per cuff). Classic Tailoring: Single-breasted, 2-button front, notch lapels, flap pockets, fully lined. Fit: Measures 19 pit-to-pit (Estimated Men's Size 36). Condition Notes:Great vintage condition on the outside! Fabric and brass buttons look beautiful. Being fully transparent, there are two minor interior flaws (pictured): a small section of the bottom lining hem has come unstitched, and there is minor wear/loose stitching along the inner breast pocket trim. Both are incredibly easy fixes for a tailor or a quick DIY stitch, and are completely hidden when worn! This is an unbelievably beautiful jacket.
