This Reed & Barton Renaissance pattern serving spoon is crafted in silverplate, its handle topped with an elaborate figural mask beneath fanciful headdress detailing. The bowl carries a repoussé face motif with surrounding scrollwork, echoing the mask theme of the handle. The reverse of the handle bears the original REED & BARTON maker's mark along with the PAT'D NOV. 30, 1886 patent stamp. See pics for details and measurements, including age appropriate patina.
