An original studio pottery stoneware mug. Tall cylindrical mug in a matte oatmeal glaze, with a braided, interlocking-link handle that reads as the sculptural focal point. Organic modern silhouette with a handmade, wabi sabi feel. Hand thrown stoneware, unmarked, mid-to-late 20th century. The handle is hand built and applied separately from the wheel-thrown body — visible in the join line where it meets the cup wall. Good condition, no chips or cracks noted. See photos for condition.
