Description
Tea Cabinet - Taisho, Showa, Retro, Antique
Old Furniture, Old House
This is a lovely tea cabinet designed with birds, the moon, grass, and a waterside motif.
The sliding doors on the upper shelf have poor alignment, making them difficult to slide smoothly, but they do open.
The sliding doors on the lower shelf move smoothly.
The right-hand hinged door has a wooden sliding lock (Photos 10, 11).
There is a knack to opening this hinged door. As shown in Photo 13, it opens easily with a firm push.
There is some looseness in the hardware of the hinged door.
There are scratches and dirt due to age.
We appreciate your understanding if you enjoy antique items.
