Vintage Chalkware Praying Boy Girl Wall Plaques Nursery Decor MCM Retro Set of 2

These are a charming matching pair of vintage mid-century modern (MCM) chalkware wall plaques featuring a sweet, kneeling boy and girl saying their bedtime prayers. These nostalgic, kitschy pieces were a staple of 1960s and 1970s nursery and children's room decor. Features built-in metal wire loops on the back for easy wall hanging. These plaques are in Good Vintage Condition with beautiful, vibrant original paint. Because chalkware is a very fragile material, they do show authentic vintage wear characteristic of their age:There are prominent plaster chips/paint loss areas on the bottom leg/pant cuffs of both figures (clearly visible in the photos). Minor surface dust and small paint flecks appropriate for pieces of this era. Backs show normal plaster texture and minor scraping from previous wall display. Please look closely at all pictures for exact condition details prior to purchase. Chalkware is fragile!
