Description
Khokhloma Russian Folk Art Candlestick, Vintage, Black/Gold, Lacquered Wood, Floral. This vintage candlestick features the traditional Khokhloma style, a Russian folk handicraft known for its vivid floral patterns and distinctive color palette. Hand-painted with golden-yellow flowers and scrolling leaf motifs against a deep black background, the piece is finished with a high-gloss lacquer that gives it a metallic sheen. The turned wood construction has a classic tiered silhouette and a wide, stable base. A partial paper label remains on the bottom with Cyrillic text, consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century Soviet-era production. It is a beautiful example of traditional Slavic decorative art, perfect for adding a touch of global heritage to your home decor.
