Description
This is a writing bureau purchased from an antique shop. The owner said it was from around the Taisho era, about 100 years ago, and had been maintained with wax. I personally maintained it a few times with persimmon tannin, including the inside of the drawers where I didn't apply wax.
This type is rare in that it has glass in the shelf section, which is very beautiful. When you lower the desk surface, a supporting board for the desk comes out in conjunction, but one side only moves manually.
The large drawer at the bottom does not close all the way.
As it is an old item, there are many scratches, ink stains, etc.
