Mother of Pearl Coin Purse Antique Victorian Brass Frame Kiss Lock Change FLAWS

Antique mother of pearl coin purse, two iridescent MOP panels riveted onto a shaped brass frame, kiss lock closure. A small chain loop remains at one top corner, the matching handle or chain appears to be missing its other side. This is the kind of small change or carriage purse a lady would have carried in the late 1800s to early 1900s, a lovely little Victorian accessory.  The interior was originally lined in red silk, which has torn and deteriorated with age, please look closely at the interior photos before bidding, this one would suit a collector or someone comfortable doing a lining repair.  Measures approximately 3 inches wide by 1.75 inches tall.  Please look at photos closely for condition. Packed and shipped with care from a smoke-free home.
