A representative painting and calligraphy work by Miyamoto Musashi.
This ink wash painting, Old Tree and Shrikes (Koboku Meigekizu), depicts a shrike perched on the tip of a withered branch. It appears to be a work designated as an Important Cultural Property in 1935.
This is an unused item that was displayed on a decorative shelf in my family home.
As there is no original box, it is being listed as a used item.
