Description
Approx. 13 x 170 cm
This is a scroll depicting a penis-measuring contest, likely from the late Edo period.
The mounting is new. There are some minor stains throughout.
Similar to works like Fart Battles,
such absurd yet humorous pictures were created in the Edo period, much like today.
This is a valuable piece for understanding the culture of the time.
We hope you will consider this unique opportunity.
