Vintage MMA Metropolitan Museum of Art Egyptian Revival Ram Head Brooch Amun Vintage MMA Metropolitan Museum of Art ram’s head brooch and pendant, featuring an ornate three-dimensional design with dramatic curled horns and a rich gold-tone finish. Signed MMA on the reverse. This versatile piece can be worn either as a traditional brooch/pin or as a pendant on a necklace, with an integrated loop on the reverse for a chain. Egyptian Revival-inspired ram motif reminiscent of ancient representations of Amun, an Egyptian deity associated with the ram. Beautiful sculptural detailing gives it a striking museum-jewelry appearance. Measures approximately 1¼” tall. Vintage preowned condition with light surface wear/patina consistent with age.
