Born as the first basketball shoe with NIKE AIR cushioning, the AIR FORCE 1 is now a king of kicks shining on the streets. The first time luxurious leather was adopted for the AF1, which has been updated with various materials, was the AIR FORCE 1 LUX made in Italy, released in 2001. Following that, in 2002, there was the HTM AIR FORCE 1 produced by Hiroshi Fujiwara, and in 2007, for its 25th anniversary, two types, Crocodile and Anaconda, handmade by Italian artisans, were undoubtedly among the most luxurious AF1s in history. However, in recent years, due to SDGs and other perspectives, recycled leather is often used, and high-quality leather has become less common.
This time, a low-cut model appears with glossy patent leather used for accent parts. The base uses a sail color for the entire upper and sole, highlighting the texture of the shrink leather. The side Swoosh and heel tab are adorned with luxurious brown patent leather featuring a grid pattern. The same material is used for the tongue label, with + stitching added alongside it. The classic round dubrae also evokes the culture of the '00s, where luxurious materials were actively incorporated.
