YAMAHA RSD086 Custom Snare Drum

The RSD086 was a special limited edition model produced in small quantities from 1987 to 1993.
Manufactured at the SAKAE Rhythm factory in Osaka.
The shell is a 7-ply construction of Hokkaido birch + melanti.
Hoops are YAMAHA Power Hoops (3mm aluminum inner-flange pressed hoops).
The 14x6.5 inch size results in a low tonal center and a very fat, pleasant, and thick mid-low frequency sound.
The warmth characteristic of birch makes this snare drum appealing for its wide expressive range.

Used item, no defects.
YAMAHA 30-strand Stainless Steel snare wires.
TOP head is an unused REMO Fiberskin coated.
