This is an antique sword stand.
It is a storage method used by Western collectors of Japanese swords. It does not take up much space, making it useful for utilizing vertical space in small rooms.
I believe it can also be used to display shinai (bamboo swords) or canes. These will be sold as a set of two.
The base is made of rubber, so it will protect your items.
