Description
Vintage Italian Majolica Floral Stoneware Teacups and Saucers – Set of 6. This hand-painted set features a blue and white floral design with twisted handles. Marked Italy on the bottom. This set presents beautifully overall. As is common with vintage handmade majolica, there are a few age-related signs of use and natural manufacturing characteristics. One cup has a small chip, while several pieces display minor glaze variations, tiny kiln marks, and other handcrafted details that occurred during production. One handle has a small rough area, and one saucer has a smooth, factory-made glaze variation along the rim. There is also some light age-related discoloration inside one cup. None of these details detract from the use of this set. Measurements: Cups: 2 1/4 Tall x 4 Diameter Saucers: 6 Diameter x 3/4 Tall Weight 4 lbs 14 oz SKU B2-0004
