Grant Hill's ambition was twofold: to become an outstanding athlete and to be a role model. He has achieved both. After scoring 2000 points in high school, he led the Duke Blue Devils to two national championships. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons and was named NBA Rookie of the Year, as well as the first rookie to be the top vote getter in All-Star balloting. Hill is highly respected for his classy demeanor and for inspiring young people to pursue their education.
