The chest measurement is self explanatory. It's also always good to compare measurements to a shirt that fits you well. Colors may vary due to different monitors. This is a smoke free home but we do have a dog. Right now I'm selling my grown children's clothing. I wash everything in free and clear detergent, but sometimes there might be a slight perfume/cologne smell after drying.
