Vintage or Antique - Old Estate Linen Piece - Peacock Embroidered Dresser Scarf or Table Runner Vintage or antique - not sure if it is quite 100 years old, but getting close. This lovely piece was sourced from an estate hope chest. It features an unusual stitchery method and although I have done lots of hand embroidery, on this one I'm not sure if this was hand stitched, or if it is early hand guided machine embroidery. Stitches are tight and tiny. No damage as in tears, holes, or repairs. There is some very light old age yellowing from decades of storage without being laundered, but they are very light and go unnoticed unless you are specifically looking to find. NO smoke odor. I find Biz does wonders for old age yellowing and dust lines. This scarf measures 36 long x 13 wide.
