Art Deco chrome sugar and creamer set by Manning-Bowman & Co., made in Meriden, Connecticut, circa 1937–1940. Each piece features a polished chrome-plated conical body with intricate zig-zag embossed trim and butterscotch Bakelite handles accented by chrome finials. Details: • Maker: Manning-Bowman & Co. • Era: Late 1930s • Material: Chrome-plated metal + Bakelite handles • Creamer: 4.25 H × 5 W (spout to handle), opening 4 D, base 2.25 D • Sugar: 4.25 H × 5 W (handle to handle), opening 3.5 D, base 2.25 D Condition: Good vintage condition overall with typical age-related surface wear. There is an area of chrome loss/flaking on the creamer spout (see close-up photo). It does not affect stability or use.
