This is a lithograph artwork titled Pont Neuf by Maurice Utrillo (1883–1955).
This is one of the original lithographs (10 in total) included in the illustrated book Paris Capitale, published in 1955. It is a limited edition print of 197. The edition number is 147/197.
The artwork depicts the Pont Neuf, Paris's oldest stone bridge, and the scenery of the Seine River, rendered in Utrillo's characteristic soft color palette. The bridge's arches and the distant cityscape are striking, creating a piece with a calm atmosphere.
Purchased approximately 30 years ago at Prince Gallery in Osaka. Due to long-term storage, there are signs of age-related wear on the frame and mat, but the artwork itself is in relatively good condition.
