The used chest was drilled and laced with binding cords. A decorative X was added with Edo kumihimo, and it was reassembled with brown leather binding cords. The edges are still used and have some scuffs and tears, but they have been painted.
I have used it for over 5 years without any problems. The family crest was applied with a sticker and then coated with transparent paint. It can likely be removed if desired.

As it is a resin body, some adjustments may be possible. Recommended for those who understand DIY. The body cord is old but will be included.
