Johnson Brothers (Hanley) Ltd. Blue and White Coaching Scenes 10" Dinner Plate

This is a Johnson Bros (Hanley) Ltd. Coaching Scenes 10 Dinner Plate with the Passing Through scene. It is a By Appointment commissioned pattern by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. This blue & white scene is a horse drawn coach with several top-hatted, pea coat wearing men galloping through a town in the English countryside. The rim is beautifully decorated with flowers and scrolls. This is a great display plate but is also very usable as a pattern replacement piece or if expanding your set. This plate is in great vintage condition. No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. I do not even see any utensil marks. There are a few ink transfer misses and a couple manufacturing marks on the back of the plate as is common with this type of transferware. I took pictures so please examine them closely. Props shown in styled photos are not included. All items in my shop are vintage and may show light signs of age or use. I try to note and photograph any flaws. Please review all photos carefully and zoom in for details. Rest assured your item will be packaged with care. I am happy to combine shipping whenever possible; just add items to your cart and message me.
