A collaboration product between Nara's setta maker Yamato Kobo and Mizuno. The popular C/6 series!
Equipped with carbon, it's resistant to flattening and reduces fatigue even after long walks.

This product can be worn in two ways. Please choose the size according to your preference.
■ Wear it like traditional setta, with the heel extending slightly (1-3cm).
■ Wear it like fashion sandals or beach sandals, with a perfect fit.

In 2020, as a new approach to footwear, Mizuno focused on setta, a traditional Japanese footwear, and developed the SETTA C/6 model. While retaining the original shape, the comfort has been greatly improved through the latest technology.

Mizuno has evolved sports equipment through its lightness and elasticity by accumulating know-how regarding material properties and processing through the use of carbon in golf shafts, tennis rackets, baseball bats, etc. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), made by impregnating soft plastic into carbon fibers and hardening it, is lightweight and highly strong. It is expected to be a substitute material for metal in various fields such as aircraft, railway cars, automobiles, and home appliances. Mizuno Technix Co., Ltd. has already started a full-scale carbon business, producing parts for TOYOTA MIRAI high-pressure hydrogen tanks and ETC automatic barriers.

This model incorporates carbon fiber reinforced plastic inside the setta insole. The arch shape is molded with a raised toe and a lowered midfoot, realizing a unique rolling sensation and elastic comfort. The footbed is made of a cool, linen-like woven fabric, and the midsole uses low-resilience foamed urethane. The tip of the thong, sakkyo, is treated with a brushed polyester PU finish for a soft feel and to prevent pain. The outsole, made of cork, features the Yamato Kobo and Mizuno logos as proof of their joint development. This is a unique item from Mizuno where Japan's traditional culture and technology meet.
