This is the First A-1 model.
Kanagawa Hakkodo original, made in Japan, manufactured by the former Tada Sangyo (now Nihon Kendogu Seisakusho).
The current A-1 (Alpha) is made by Higashidobou (Mitsuboshi), but it is a different product manufactured in an overseas factory.
The First A-1 has a firm futon, and high-quality deerskin is used for the tsukidare (chin guard) and borders.
The size is large, with a hokamuri of 72-73 cm.
Please understand that these are amateur measurements and may have slight differences before purchasing.
The mentare is also a long, sleek style from the past, measuring 23 cm.
It is unused, so there are no creases in the futon from folding.
● About Accessories
The menhimo (men cord) has been replaced with a different one and is not included. However, if you purchase without a discount, we will include the new cord shown in the image and the original deerskin men-chikawa. (These will not be included if a discount is applied.)
