Antique sterling silver souvenir hat pin featuring Washington's Mansion / Mount Vernon, Virginia. The square top depicts the Mount Vernon mansion with raised lettering and is marked STERLING beneath the building. The pin has an ornate openwork/filigree-style connector below the plaque and a long straight shaft, typical of early 1900s Edwardian-era hat pins used to secure large ladies' hats. This is a wonderful early travel souvenir piece, likely dating to the early 20th century, circa 1900–1915/1920s. Condition: Antique pre-owned condition with age-related tarnish, dark patina, and some green/blue oxidation visible, especially around the sterling top. I have not heavily polished it so the details and antique character remain intact. Please review photos closely for condition and measurements.
