Up for sale is a beautiful vintage heavy brass glass orb sphere desk clock. This unique novelty timepiece acts as a natural paperweight and desk accessory, featuring an open glass lens that heavily magnifies the watch face underneath. The clock dial features a clean white backdrop styled with classic Roman numeral hour markers and a sharp graphic silhouette of a dolphin jumping out of ocean waves. Flipping the orb reveals a transparent back crystal showing off the unadjusted Miyota Co. Japanese quartz movement. The piece is set into a custom black vinyl presentation storage chest lined with a padded black satin/velvet material. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The heavy brass casing shows a nice, gentle aged patina with no major dents or harsh corrosion. The thick glass orb is smooth, clean, and free of notable deep scratches or cracks.
