Description
No key but opens and closes just fine, just can't lock. Bottom drawer is snug but opens and closes fine, has corner chips. Lacquer in several places has chipped away. I recommend sealing the piece to prevent further chipping if you're wanting to use it as a jewelery box and not just display. See all photos. Music plays when wound up and lid is open. 5-5/8h x 8w x 5-1/2d Ornate lacquered jewellery box with hand-painted Japanese landscape motif of Mount Fuji. Rich black and deep red surface with metallic gold detailing. Decorative metal keyhole escutcheon and drawer pull. Elegant collectible accent for vanity or display.
