Vintage Clear Glass Vanity Jar with Silver Plated Lid Ornate Floral Vine Design

Beautiful vintage clear glass vanity jar featuring a rounded, bulbous form with an ornate raised vine and foliate pattern wrapping around the glass. The jar is topped with an unusual silver plated lid, decorated with an intricate raised design and a circular opening in the center. A lovely old vanity piece with plenty of character, especially appealing for a dresser, vanity, antique collection, or decorative display. The glass remains clear and displays well. There are several very small flea-bite/nibble chips along the upper glass rim, noticeable primarily by touch as slight roughness around portions of the edge. No large rim chips or cracks observed.  The lid shows considerable natural tarnish, patina, discoloration, scratches, and surface wear consistent with age. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, or purity stamps are present.
