My mother, who ran a calligraphy class until about 25 years ago, likely purchased this from Minase Fude Honpo.
It comes in a double box, stored within a cardboard outer box (Photo 19).
The cardboard box shows some signs of dirt, but the inner blue box has no noticeable dirt or damage (Photos 1, 14-16).
The dimensions of the blue box are 36.5cm x 67cm.
Inside, there are 12 sets, each consisting of a mount, a plate, and a thin protective paper placed on top of the plate (Photos 2-12).
About 5-6 of the mounts and protective papers show some slight dirt (Photos 4, 6, 7), but the fan-shaped plates themselves are free of dirt.
The colophon is located at the bottom of the box (Photo 13).
A price tag from the time is attached to the back of the cardboard box (Photo 17).
Additionally, it includes a Japanese and English explanatory booklet. A distribution slip with the bookstore's name was also included (Photo 18).
