VTG Galleon Ship Powder Compact Gold Tone Guilloché Foil Nautical Vanity Compact

Vintage unmarked round powder compact featuring a striking silhouette of a three-masted galleon sailing ship over an iridescent guilloché-style foil background. The reverse is finished with a textured gold-tone mesh design, giving it a unique Mid-Century look. A beautiful display piece for collectors of vintage vanity items or nautical décor.  Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. There is staining and discoloration along portions of the upper rim, along with patina and finish wear to the gold-tone metal consistent with age and use. The compact opens and closes properly. The original mirror, powder, and powder puff are all missing. The interior shows residue and cosmetic wear from previous use.
