The number of artisans who possess traditional techniques for weaving and dyeing kimonos and obi with time-honored craftsmanship is dwindling.

We hope that young ladies wearing furisode will choose kimonos and obi made with these authentic, traditional methods.

As shown in the 10th image, although difficult to discern in the photo, the dye has penetrated to the back of the fabric, indicating it is a piece hand-dyed by an artisan. Modern inkjet printing cannot achieve such deep color penetration.

As seen in images 4-8, there are shibori (tie-dyeing) patterns in the form of cloud motifs throughout, along with extensive gold leaf application. The unevenness of the lines suggests that an artisan meticulously hand-painted each fine line.
Furthermore, the pistils of the peonies are not gold leaf, but rather gold thread embroidery (kinkoma-shishu). Four peonies feature this intricate gold thread embroidery, showcasing the artisan's meticulous handiwork down to the smallest details.

The front and back are densely covered with patterns. This is truly a magnificent furisode. The lining (hakkake) is a soft orange gradient with a subtle woven pattern.

Kimono crafted with such detailed, manual techniques by artisans may become increasingly rare.

We highly recommend this for young ladies who wish to adorn themselves with genuine luxury.

The obi is a Nishijin-ori (Nishijin woven silk) with a tied scroll motif in a young green color. It is a youthful and dynamic obi, perfect for a young lady.
Unfortunately, there is a stain on the lining, which is not visible when worn, as shown in the 14th image.
