ORIGINAL PRINTS SIGNED BY ALAO YOKOGI
1987 Twilight Twist - a work created using flashlight lighting.
Shot of green soap.
Photographed in the bathroom of my office in Daikanyama.
This lighting technique makes objects appear to emit light.
Possible even in the digital age.

Print size is 2L. Comes in a gold-colored 2L frame.
Please note that the print and signature may differ slightly from the product photos.

The fascination of a photograph is that while it is undeniably mine, taken by me, and copyrighted by me,
it is never truly
mine.
Because it is a fragment of proof that something existed in the world at that exact moment.
As it hangs on a wall,
the photographer gradually fades away,
and the photograph becomes the viewer's.

Unlike a painting, this is the charm of photography.
A photograph that lasts when displayed on a wall,
that changes with each viewing,
and that slowly seeps into the viewer.
I love photographs like that.

Please experience this kind of photographic journey.
