Vintage unmarked Wagner cast iron skillet, 9 inch size, made in the USA. Classic mid-century design with a smooth cooking surface and excellent heat retention.  Based on casting style and markings, this skillet is attributed to Wagner Manufacturing, a well-known and respected American cast iron maker.  This skillet has been properly restored and is ready for use. It was cleaned using a lye bath to safely remove old buildup without damaging the original surface—no grinding or sanding was performed.  It has been freshly seasoned with multiple thin coats of avocado oil, providing a natural non-stick finish that will continue to improve with use.
