Brass ground, wave pattern rim, unsigned, Higo style, sukidashi-bori (chiseled carving), kebori (hairline engraving). A magnificent Higo style detached rim. I believe it is by Hirata Hikozō or Nishigaki Kanshirō.

The hairline engraving of the wave lines is meticulously crafted down to the finest details.

There are signs of age-related dirt and discoloration, but the condition is good. There is a crack, but it has been secured from the inside. Please check the images carefully.
