■ With conventional pickup fences, the distance between the fence and the strings was too large, causing discomfort during thumb picking. The Custom Lab Pickup Fence resolves this discomfort by setting the high-string side lower. Additionally, it achieves excellent playability by cutting away areas that tend to obstruct the pinky finger during slap pulls and hinder 2-finger playing.
