The body is made of machined aluminum and acrylic, giving it a luxurious feel. At this magnification and price range, it stands out from the competition. While the 15x is easier to handle, this is the one you want when you need to see finer details. Overall, I confidently recommend this product. I believe it's a superb item in terms of performance, quality, and texture. It's easy to see why it sells out quickly.

It features a 2-group, 3-element coated achromatic lens configuration, making it very easy to use, clear, and visible.
As you may already know, it is no longer in production.

The optical system, consisting of a 2-group, 3-element configuration, has been designed to brightly and more clearly magnify a wide area without distortion. It can be used for product checks and inspections in the field, or by taking it along on a walk, you can rediscover the wonders and beauty of nature.

I use it for coin checking. It is suitable for observing small differences in coins, such as changes in current currency. The fact that it's made in Japan is also a plus.
It's difficult to discern details without strong light. As expected with 22x magnification, this tendency is pronounced. I use a 15x magnifier to get a general overview, and then use this 22x loupe during bright daylight.

I collect magnifiers and loupes for hobbies, including professional and enthusiast-grade models for industrial use. I have several of the same item and am selling this one because my collection has become too large.
