【High-Quality Authentic Iai Sword】Iai Practice Sword, 2 Shaku 4 Sun Hardened Blade, Genuine Sharkskin, Iron Tsuba, Beautiful Condition

Thank you for viewing.

This is a practice sword for Iaijutsu. It is not a real sword.

The sword stand is for photography purposes and is not included.

There are minor scratches on the scabbard and slight plating imperfections on the blade, but they are barely noticeable. The overall condition is clean. The tsuba is also firmly attached and well-made. The blade is finished with a thick edge, making it suitable for suburi (swinging practice) and Kendo kata. With a blade length of approximately 74 cm, it is recommended for advanced practitioners.

Blade: Sand-cast hard alloy blade for Iaijutsu, with a groove (shinogi-zukuri)
Gunome-style hamon (temper line), thick edge finish
Tsuka (Hilt): Wooden, genuine ray skin, pure cotton navy blue ito (handle wrap) twisted
Fuchi-Kashira (Hilt Collar and Pommel): Gold dragon motif, Menuki (ornaments): Gold dragon
Tsuba (Guard): Kanayama square openwork iron tsuba
Saya (Scabbard): Black stone-pattern lacquer, pure cotton navy blue sageo (cord)

Overall Length: 103 cm, Blade Length: 74 cm (excluding habaki)
Tsuka Length: 24.5 cm, Weight (without saya): 880g, Sori (Curvature): 1.5 cm
Accessories: Nishijin-ori sword bag (used)

⚠️ Although it is a beautiful item, there may be minor scratches or dirt that I have not noticed. Thank you for your understanding.
