Authentic M1881 Indian Wars Cavalry Dress Helmet featuring a striking yellow horsehair plume and brass hardware. This historical piece includes the iconic eagle plate with shield, crossed sabers side buttons, and an oak leaf base for the plume socket. The interior retains its leather sweatband with a clear 'W.H. Horstmann Co. Contract March 4th 1899' stamp, along with a 'Raymold & Whitlock' brass vent. Constructed from black felt with a leather-bound brim, this helmet represents late 19th-century U.S. military regalia.
