Homer Laughlin Eggshell Cavalier "Dianne" Set of 4 Bread & Butter Plates 6-1/4"

HOMER LAUGHLIN EGGSHELL CAVALIER DIANNE SET OF 4 BREAD & BUTTER PLATES 6-1/4 MID CENTURY MODERN ATOMIC There is something wonderfully optimistic about setting a table with vintage American china. Imagine a family gathering in the late 1950s. Warm dinner rolls rest beside homemade butter, a slice of coffee cake accompanies afternoon tea, or a simple sandwich is served on these elegant little plates. Their soft turquoise border, stylized Atomic-inspired flowers, charcoal gray leaves, tiny red berry accents, and shimmering silver trim capture the clean, modern spirit that defined Mid Century America. Although floral, the Dianne pattern is unmistakably Mid Century Modern. Its geometric blossoms, graceful lines, and restrained color palette fit beautifully with Atomic Age décor, Atomic Ranch homes, Danish Modern furniture, retro kitchens, and vintage entertaining. Produced by Homer Laughlin as part of their celebrated Eggshell Cavalier line, these plates represent an important chapter in American dinnerware history. After earning a reputation for producing durable restaurant china, Homer Laughlin introduced the Eggshell Cavalier collection to bring that same dependable quality into American homes in a lighter, more refined form. The result was elegant dinnerware designed to be beautiful enough for guests while remaining practical for everyday family meals. Today the Dianne pattern is appreciated by collectors of Homer Laughlin, Mid Century Modern décor, Atomic Era design,
